Overview

The Druk Path Trek is one of Bhutan’s most scenic and accessible treks, often called the “Royal Trek” due to its popularity among Bhutanese royalty. This moderate trek connects Paro to Thimphu, passing through lush valleys, alpine meadows, ancient monasteries, and high mountain passes. Along the way, trekkers enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks including Mount Jomolhari (7,326 m) and Mount Jichu Drake (6,989 m).

Perfect for travelers who want a short but memorable trekking experience, the Druk Path Trek combines Bhutanese culture, pristine nature, and manageable trekking distances. It’s suitable for both beginners and experienced hikers looking for a high-altitude adventure without the intensity of longer Himalayan treks.
