Poon Hill Teahouse Trekking

Mesmerizing sunrise at Poon Hill Teahouse Trekking

Stunning views of the Himalayas

Comparatively shorter and easy trekking in the reason, suitable for a family trek too

Multiplicity of landscape, biodiversity, culture, and economy within 10 kilometres of displacement.

Is it misguided by the new name Poon Hill Teahouse Trekking? It seems like you have never been to the Himalayan Region of Nepal. As a result, this term is slightly tricky for you. Or, at least, a new one. Don’t worry, though! It is shared here and among travellers who have been to this Himalayan Nation, not to mention we are here to help you.

You might get curious, why would somebody go trekking to get from one Teahouse to the next? People in rural Nepal use English words at their convenience, so they often confuse tourists. People often refer to restaurants as hotels and inns as lodges in rural areas. I don’t mean Teahouse stands for something entirely different, provided it is slightly different from what you may take a teahouse for.

What are Tea Houses?

A teahouse in these regions isn’t where you get only a cup of tea, coffee, or refreshments. Along these trekking trails, meals are also provide in Teahouse. In addition to meals, you will even get a good place to sleep in. It means a combo of a restaurant, a Teahouse, and a small hotel. In other words, it won’t be a challenging job for you to find such teahouses every 2 or 3 kilometres. But the density depends well upon the arrival of foot traffic (domestic or international tourists).

Poon Hill Teahouse Trekking 7 days is arguably the finest short teahouse trekking in the Annapurna area. This trekking trip unfolds an abundance of natural beauty, and Mesmerizing sunrises are the most fantastic scenery in the mountains in the country.

This trek is made with great details put into its itinerary. Our first destination is of course the mighty PoonHill. After experiencing those glorious views we move on to the next great spot. That is the Ghandruk. One of the most famous traditional villages, close to Pokhara. Throughout these treks, the views and the cultural experience you get are simply awesome.

Thus, for someone looking for cultural values throughout the trek, a visit to this village may be worth it. Another is the natural hot springs at Tatopani, which provide a relaxing soak after a day of trekking.

PoonHill and its measures to reduce trekking impacts and converse the environment.

The Poon Hill Trek has been trying hard to reduce its impact on the environment and promote conservation. For example, the use of solar-powered lighting in tea houses and the introduction of composting toilets are steps towards reducing the trek’s carbon footprint.

In addition, the promotion of responsible trekking practices, such as avoiding single-use plastics, helps to reduce litter and preserve the natural beauty of the region. As everything works with proper coordination, to conserve this area, the effort of trekkers is equally required.
