Reaching a maximum altitude of 3210m, the completion of this trek will be comfortable for everybody with their physical fitness. The trek begins from Nayapool village which can be reached after a short drive from Pokhara.

 

Walking towards Bhurungdikhola you will cross some villages with their mix cultures, lifestyle, and traditions. The first day walks is comparatively moderate because we will walk nearby roads up to Tikhedhunga. From Tikhedhunga to Ulleri there are stairs which are complete more than 1 and half hour up the hill.

 

Rugged Trails is Skipping Tikhedhunga because there is no mountain view but from Ulleri we can see Annapurna South and beautiful landscapes.

 

We can see the Majestic views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, 8,167, Tukuche peak, Annapurna south, Himchuli, Fish-tail, Lamjung Himal, Annapurna IV, III and Dhampus Peak from Poon Hill. Ghorepani Poon hill is the best viewpoint of breathtaking panoramic Mountains views from the lower elevation.

Outline Itinenary


  • Day 1:  Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (900m)
  • Day 2:  Drive to Nayapul 55km and Trek to Tikedhunga (1540m)
  • Day 3:  Trek from Tikedhunga to Ghorepani (2850m)
  • Day 4:  Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2660m) via Poon Hill 3210m
  • Day 5:  Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrung (2170m)
  • Day 6:  Trek from Chhomrung to Tolka via Hot spring
  • Day 7:  Trek from Tolka to Pokhara.
  • Day 8:  Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Itinerary


  • Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (900m)

    Early in the morning after having breakfast you will start a scenic drive to the beautiful city of Pokhara and then transferred to your hotel.  Afternoon, if time permits boating in Phewa lake and visit Barahi temple situated in Center of Phewa Lake, also side trip around lakeside.

  • Day 2: Drive to Nayapul 55km and Trek to Tikedhunga (1540m)

    After having breakfast early in the morning with one hour drive to Nayapul and you will start your trek to Tikedhunga. At a 30minutes walk from Nayapul you will reach to Birethati, here you have to show your trekking permit and TIMS in the National Park Office. After a short stops, and trail slightly goes Tikedhunga via Burundi Khola, village of Sudame, Mathathati Hille and finally  crossing many beautifully settled hamlets and  reach to Tikedhunga.

  • Day 3: Trek from Tikedhunga to Ghorepani (2850m)

    A gentle climb through pasture and cultivated Barley and Millet fields As you will climb up you walk up beside the cascading stream through refresh fully cool oak and rhododendron forest you’ll have a decent view of Annapurna South from Ulleri.

  • Day 4: Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2660m) via Poon Hill 3210m

    Early morning one hour hike to Poon hill for the amazing sunrise view. From here we will have a sunrise view together with an outstanding view of the Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Machapuchre (Holy mountain) Himchuli, Nilgiri and South Annapurna. Back to the guesthouse for breakfast. Then we will walk for five and a half hours to achieve the terrific village of Tadapani. overnight at a guesthouse.

  • Day 5: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrung (2170m)

    After morning breakfast the trail directly goes downhill to Kim rung Khola through dense forest of Rhododendron and watching the miraculous vista of Annapurna south, Annapurna IV and Machhapuchchhre. From Kim rung Khola the trail slightly goes uphill to Gurung village of Chhomrung (2050m). Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 6: Trek from Chhomrung to Tolka via Hot spring

    After morning breakfast the trail leads you downhill for about three hour to new bridge and small break for tea/coffee or cold drinks. The trail slightly goes uphill to Landruk village with Lunch stops. After lunch in Landruk village further walk to Tolka about an hour overnight at lodge.

  • Day 7: Trek from Tolka to Pokhara.

    Start walking from early in the morning observing the magnificent views of Annapurna Himalayan Range; continue your walk along the village of Pothana and Dhampus. From here one hour of downhill trek takes you to Pedi and back to Pokhara. Your last day trekking celebrates in Pokhara with your trekking staff. 

  • Day 8: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

    Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu and transfer your hotel, spare time for your family shopping evening celebrate farewell dinner with Nepali Family.
