On the first day of your trip, you arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport. We will receive you from Tribhuwan International Airport. From here, we will drop you at your comfy hotel, where you can get refreshed. You can also explore the nightlights of the city.

Early morning we will start our drive to Arughat. After we enter the shading district, our journey will begin on the most challenging roads. On reaching Arughat, we will see a pleasing market along the budhi Gandaki river. We will spend our night in one of the beautiful hotels and have a delicious dinner.

From Lokpa, the trail descends half an hour towards Lungwa Khola, and climbing the challenging zig-zag route further two hours north through pines and rhododendrons, we reach Gumlung. Crossing the Siyar Khola, we finally arrive at Chumling, lower Tsum, from where we can view Shringi Himal. Visit the old Chumling gompa and the stone streets of the village. Stay overnight in Lokpa. On this day, we will, Cross the suspension bridge and get a fantastic view of Ganesh Himal. Pass through Rainjam to Serpu Khola and again cross a bridge, and we will reach Gho Village. After 2 hours of trek, it will take us to the Chhokangparo. We will enjoy the fantastic views of Himalchuli and Ganesh Himal from this site. We will spend our night in Chokhangparo.

We will trek to Ngakyu vaillage . After that, We will have a visit to a cave. People believe that saint Milarepa used to meditate in this cave. This cave is also known as “Pigeon cave.” We will continue our trek to villages like Burji, Phurba, and Pangdun. You will see a splendid giant Buddhist Stupa en route to Chhule and Nile. We are staying overnight on the Nile.

On this day, we will walk to the west bank of the valley through the Tibetan landscapes. And then Climb up to the Mu Gompa. Mu Gompa is a very famous and largest monastery in the region. This Gompa is situated in the highest and most isolated part of the Tsum Valley. After that, we will have a visit to the Dhephu Doma Gompa. After exploring the Mu Gompa area, we will spend our overnight in the Nile.

Today is the easy walk to Chhekamparo. We will pass through Lar Village and then visit the Rachen Gompa; this gompa is also known as Nunnery Gompa; we will be crossing over a suspension bridge and finally reach Chhekamparo. We will spend our overnight in Chhekamparo.

Today, after breakfast, we will trek back to Jagat. The track passes through the rhododendron and pine forest and eventually joins the main Manaslu path. We will continue our walk through Philim, Eklai Bhatti, crossing Buddhi Gandaki before reaching Jagat and spending overnight in a hotel in Jagat.

From Jagat, our path descends to Bagar. After 15 minutes of walking, we will cross the suspension bridge and continue our walk through the cantilever bridge again. Continue the journey through Dovan, Tatopani, and Khorlabesi and finally reach Lapubesi. We will spend our night in Lapubesi.

Moreover, if you also desire to trek all the way to Tsume Valley, you will be requiring an additional permit of Tsum Valley Permit.

How long is the Manaslu Circuit Trek?
This trek can be extended as much as you like. But talking professionally, the standard time for a Manaslu Trek is around 14 days. This may differ by 1-2 days but at least 14 days is required to get the most out of this trek. Starting your trek all the way from Kathmandu, you will get to Soti Khola with a drive. From there the trek starts, you will be going along the path and ending the trek at Syange
Cost of Manaslu Circuit Trek
Costs are such things that may alternate/ differ highly on what one wants. When speaking on average you may be able to trek Manaslu Circuit for around 1200+ USD. These above mentioned costs include your cost of guides, permits, and accommodation.

How challenging is Manaslu Circuit Trek?
Manaslu Trek is considered a moderate trek. Although Manaslu peak is named the killer mountain, you need to worry the least while trekking this site. Unless peak climbing is up to your sleeve. But the Circuit trek’s highest point is at an elevation of about 5160m, which is certainly above average.
At such altitude problems such as altitude sickness are certain. Thus, to conquer this marvelous piece of land, you must be physically and mentally prepared. Trekkers need to pass through great taxing terrains to conquer this region. The rugged and remote landscape really is a challenging piece of nature.
Why Is It Called Manaslu Circuit Trek?
For popular treks such as Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Treks, the ending point are the basecamp, and from there you tend to return back the same path you came. But for Manaslu, the story is different. We go all the way to the Manaslu Base Camp, but it is not the finishing point of this trek. Here we tend to loop around the region.
For Base Camp Treks, these treks usually have the same starting point and an ending point. But when it comes to circuit treks, you start and end at totally different parts. Thus, it signifies the name Makalu Circuit Trek.
